Kyle Rittenhouse spent the early part of the evening sharing bottled water with Kenosha police, even though he was openly carrying a firearm that was illegal for him to possess. Later, after he shot three people killing two, the police didn't detain him, but kept driving as protesters identified him as the shooting suspect. Jake Blake was shot seven times in the back, in front of his small children for failing to comply. He was unarmed.
