USA citizens don't want to learn nor be bothered by their own hateful history. USA is a country founded by the deaths of Natives, grew by the labor of Africans slaves, changed by the world's immigrants, and lead by the people who hate them all.

Majority of luxuries you take for granted are from America. Since we are on the subject of African slaves it's a silly to complain of one country that ended slavery while another continent allows slavery today. less

The same people that complain about teaching Critical Race Theory (which is really just teaching an accurate lesson of our history) are the same people that complained about removing monuments to slavers. Their argument, get this, is that an accurate explanation of what happened during slavery and segregation would cause undue stress and anxiety for young white children. What about the stress and anxiety of black children who are forced daily to sit in classrooms in schools named for supremacists who considered their ancestors subhuman and actually fought a war killing thousands of their fellow citizens to keep them in bondage. less

Lest not forget all the USA's nazi citizens and how the rat lines from Rome to South America facilitated the nazis movements. I do not take any luxuries for granted, yet since I'm not an USA citizen all the time I can attest to the inequalities of my country compared to the USA. Indeed the USA was one of the last countries that ended slavery, yet the mindset of many has not changed. Hence, the opposition to Critical Race Theory. When we know our country's awful history, we can begin to forgive and change it. less
