This is an Adoption Birth Certificate, every Adoptee has one. Many times, our names are taken from us and changed, and our birth certificates are sealed.
It takes a court order to unseal the document, then another court order to change our name back to the original.
Sometimes, adoptive parents do not tell us that we had a different name at birth. This further steals identity from us. As far as I'm concerned, this is a faulty and harmful practice that needs to stop.
