YOU, ME AND EVERYONE else, we all pretend that we don't see color, that another person's ethnicity has no bearing on our behavior. We all lie to ourselves. The American Experiment without a doubt is the greatest feat of nation building in the history of mankind. The Founders were nothing short of brilliant in their idea of a democratic land, but they were massively flawed in their mechanism of bringing thought from paper to reality. We've been mired in blood and color and faulty thinking since then. I see color on FamWorlds some days, I see faulty thinking so subtle that I'm sometimes not even aware I've fallen victim to it. I'm not going to allow white faces, black faces, brown faces stifle my goal, a free and open avenue on the information highway, I'm staying in the mix.
