Elijah McClain was killed by police and negligent EMT's on this date two years ago in Aurora CO. He had committed no crime other than the fact that he was an introvert and liked to wear an open faced ski mask because of his social inadequacy. He was detained and physically assaulted and later administered a large dose of ketomine. He later went into cardiac arrest and died. Ironically some of the officers were later fired not because of their contributions in hos death, but because they shared pictures taken of themselves celebrating at a memorial erected at the site where the incident occurred. Qualified Immunity protects law enforcement from civil suits due to misconduct.
