Modelo Especial, which is made in the USA by Constellation Brands, only supplies 20% of all Modelo Beer. 80% of the rest of Modelo Beer is imported to the USA from different countries.
Now, in all other countries that brew Modelo and import them to the USA (about 80% of product), Anheuser-Busch is the owner of the breweries.
This means that unless you buy your Modelo beer specifically from breweries that are in the USA (20% of the product), you are still buying products from Anheuser-Busch, the makers of Budlight. less

So very true. If you haven’t seen it, watch the movie Adaptation with Nicolas Cage. It comes up as a line and I always found it so interesting. I won’t say anything else. I’d hate to ruin it for others.
