He's only 23, but I've known him since he was a little kid, because we're also friends with his parents. So it's a bit of a new, weird dynamic, as up until a couple of months ago, we hadn't seen him since he was all of 16/17ish and to us, he was still just Alex&Gino's boy.
Anyhow... I bit the bullet and told him what I thought. Swear to god, I thought he was going to f'ing cry at one point. No joke.
This time I'd brought some of my own 'white widow' along and we did a little comparison test.
Not only could we both smoke a bowl twice as large without coughing, but I showed him how the ash from mine was completely white, whereas his was mostly grey, with darker flecks throughout. Explained what this meant, etc..
Long story short, we're all good, but I get the feeling he's going to be pedantic as F! with his next grow.
Which is good, I wouldn't want to see anyone smoking weed with as much fertilizers and pesticides as his had. It... less
